This service allows obtaining approval for the import of restricted fertilizers and agricultural conditioners.

Service Process

When applying through the website:

• For approval restricted raw materials/ fertilizers for the purpose of import:
• Log in using UAE PASS to start the service.
• Fill out the application form.
• Attach the required documents.
• Submit the application.
• For import permit:
• Log in using UAE PASS to start the service.
• Fill out the application form.
• Pay the fees.
• Issuing the import permit electronically.
• To release the consignment:
• Log in using UAE PASS to start the service.
• Fill out the application form.
• Pay the fees.
• Submit the application.
• Visually inspect the consignment and take a sample for laboratory analysis.
• Issuing permission to release the mission electronically.

Conditions & Requirements

• The importing establishment must hold a license for production and trade of agricultural inputs, including trading and/or production of fertilizers and agricultural conditioners (wholesale of chemical and organic fertilizers/conditioners).
• The product must be registered with the EDE under the establishment’s name (raw materials for factories do not require prior registration).
• The import permit is valid for a single use and expires six months from the date of issuance.
• Importing is allowed from any branch of the producing or exporting company listed in the product registration certificate.
• For restricted fertilizers or raw materials must be obtain approval for restricted fertilizers or raw materials for the purpose of import before issuing the permit.

• Chemical Safety Data Sheet for the material to be imported (MSDS).
• Factory layout.

• Industrial / commercial license.
• Ministry of Interior forms.

• Origin certificate.
• Copy of the customs manifest or bill of lading.
